Patton Boggs, 90, Jeffersonville, IN. Funeral services for Patton Boggs, 90, Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m., Monday, January 5 (2015), at E. M. Coots? Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at his home. He was the founder of Boggs Pest Control in 1969. Pat loved his family and friends, especially, time spent house boating on Dale Hollow Lake and fishing on Lake Okeechobee. He was a member of Rolling Fields Baptist Church and Silver Sneakers Swim Group at the YMCA. Patton was born in Kingdom Come, Letcher County, Kentucky to Lily Boggs and Martha Jones Boggs.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Boggs and his wife, Janie, Jeffersonville, Jeff Boggs and his wife, Jeanie, Jeffersonville and Gregory Boggs and his wife, Deneise, Forest City, NC; daughter, Kathy Willham and her husband, Lynn, Jeffersonville; brother, Pascal Boggs and his wife, Gracie, Jeffersonville; sisters, Geneva Houchens and her husband, Barkley, Jeffersonville and Ginny Audus, Dalton Springs, KY; grandchildren, Arbie, Ben, Evan, Ryan, Kim, Mike, Wes, Josh, Sandy, Millie, Sara, Kenneth, Lola and Adrienne; and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Austin, Lilly, Jayden, Caleb, Cooper, Kaley, Paige, Riley, John and Ian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of 62 years, Edna M. Boggs; his father, Lilly Boggs; mother, Martha Boggs Clark; sisters, Irene Day, Ivis Martin, Hazel Reynolds, Norma Smallwood and Pansy Boggs. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Rolling Fields Baptist Church and Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
