My maternal grandparents, Henry and Pearlie Boggs Frazier. Photo taken in 1967 for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Henry and Pearlie were married 16 Jul 1917 at Sugar Grove School House in Letcher County, KY. Henry was the son of John W Frazier and Lucinda Ingram Frazier. Pearlie, born in Ingrams Creek, Letcher Co, KY, was the fifth child/daughter of Loranza Boggs and Mary Ann "Polly Ann" Roark Boggs. Henry and Pearlie were the parents of 3 daughters and 3 sons. In birth order, Dixie Mae Frazier Dallas, b 17 Jul 1918, Ingrams Creek - d 23 Mar 1964, Jeffersonville, Clark County, IN. Dixie and husband, Binkley Dallas, had no children. She is buried next to her parents. Dana Fay Frazier Combs, b 18 Aug 1920, Ingrams Creek - d 17 Jul 2009, at home, Charlestown, IN. Obituary of Murl Lee Frazier

Murl Lee Frazier, 92, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Lincoln Hills Healthcare in New Albany, IN. He was born on March 21, 1924, to Henry and Pearl (Boggs) Frazier, in Cumberland, KY. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a retired heavy equipment operator for E. I. Dupont, a member of the First Baptist Church, Charlestown, Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226, O.E.S. Lodge #597, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, IN, and was a past Grand Patron of Indiana from 1989-1990. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nina Gabbard Frazier; sisters, Dixie Dallas, and Dana Combs; brother, Sol Frazier. Survivors include his sister, Bobbie Jean Hawkins of Charlestown, IN; Brother, Odell Frazier (Norma) of New Johnsonville, TN; sister-in-law, Frances Frazier of New Albany, IN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 11 AM at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday from 4 PM to 8 PM, and after 9 AM on Tuesday. Masonic Services to be held at 7 PM on Monday. Military services provided by the American Legion Post 335 and VFW Post 1427. CHARLESTOWN - Frazier, Nina Judell, 92, of Charlestown, passed away Sunday January 5, 2014 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1921 in Hartford, KY to Fred and Erah Johnson Gabbard. She was a loving housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #597 in Charlestown and served as Past District Deputy of District 3 of the O.E.S. as well as Past Grand Esther of the State of Indiana. She is survived by her husband, Murl Frazier of Charlestown, IN; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and after 11 a.m. on Sunday. Eastern Star services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
