Charlie Cornett, age 88, of Hindman, passed away March 5, 2009 at the Hazard ARMC. He was born in Hindman, Kentucky on March 25, 1920 to John M. Cornett and Rhoda Madden Cornett. He is survived by his wife: Georgetta Jones Cornett; daughter: Mrs. Bobby (Carolyn) Everage; grandson: Charles "Chuck" (Charlena) Everage; brothers: Albert and John M. Cornett; great granddaughter: Savannah Langley Everage. Funeral services will be 1PM, Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Richard Spencer, Mike Caudill, Reggie Hall and Rudolph Moore officiating. Entombment will follow at Mountain Memory Gardens, Hindman, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 6-10PM.
