OBITUARY OF RICKY WAYNE FLEMING
Ricky Wayne Fleming, the son of the late Sol Fleming and Deloris Fleming was born at the Fleming Hospital on September 30, 1955. He passed from this life at his Mom's residence in Jackhorn on February 3, 1994, making his stay here on earth 38 years, 4 months and 4 days.

Rick worked over 16 years at the Whitesburg Hospital. He was always ready to help and to care for those of his family who needed him. His kind disposition made being around him a pleasurable experience. His willingness to help others will not be forgotten.

On May 16, 1993 Rick made the most important decision of his life. On this day he was baptized into Christ for the remission of his sins. He has been very sick for several months and unable to get out. And when someone who could sing would visit him he would always ask for them to sing.

Rick is survived by his mother: Lois Fleming of Jackhorn, Ky; sons: Dradrick and Aftan FIeming both of Millstone, Ky; brothers: Gary Fleming of Payne Gap, Ky; Chan Fleming of Jackhorn, Ky. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Sol Fleming, on May 23, 1967. Also surviving are large number of friends and relatives.

He was loved and respected by all that knew him; and will be missed greatly by all his friends, neighbors and family.

Funeral services for Ricky Wayne Fleming were be conducted at the Banks Funeral Home at Fleming-Neon, KY on Friday, February 4, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers: family and friends. Officiating minister: Chris Fleming. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Cemetery, Jackhorn, KY. Arrangements handled by Banks Funeral Home, Fleming-Neon, KY.


OBITUARY OF SOL and BILL FLEMING
Bill and Sol Fleming, sons of Bessie Stewart and John Fleming were born in Pike County, KY. Bill, March 3, l925 and Sol April 7, 1932. Both lost their life at Deane, KY. at Bethlehem Mine 22 in a slate fall. Bill being 42, yrs. 2 months, and 20 days of age. Sol being 35 yrs. 1 month and 16 days of age.

Their brother Patty also lost his life in a mine accident. Their father John, passed away December 7, 1965. They are survived by the following: Bill by his wife Edna Pearl, sons, Fearl, Loriane, Ohio; Randall, Seco. KY;; Harold, Prestonsburg; Skip at home; daughters, Darlene, Nettie Jane, Brenda and Linda at home, Sol, by his wife Deloris; children, Gary Neal, Chandis and Rickey Wayne, all at home. They are also survived by their mother, and the following brothers and sisters: Tom, Clinton, Willard and Mable Johnson, of Hemphill; Ezra of Pekin, IN; Lenville of Pikeville, Kentucky, Glassie Hall of Pekin, IN; Eugene of McRoberts and Della Hall of Florida; and a large number of relatives and friends.
