Annette Potter about age 22
Welcome to our website. I'm Annette Potter, b 1948 Letcher Co KY; d/o Creed Flannery Potter and Ida Fuller. I was born in the beautiful Eastern Kentucky Mountains in Letcher County, Kentucky. My sisters and brothers are half brothers, Archie (deceased), Dan, Fred, (deceased) Washie (died as infant), and Creed Flannery Potter Jr (died as infant), Half sister, Billie Joyce Potter, brothers, Clark, Marty, (deceased) and David Potter, and sister, Carlene Potter Burkland. I am not a professional genealogist, but I do love genealogy and work hard to put our giant ancestral puzzle together. My reason for doing each family page by page is to be able to see clearly how we connect. It continues to be a work in progress and I'm sure you will find errors that need correction. My hope is that others will see these pages and fill in the blanks or correct my mistakes until, working together with family and friends, we connect the families accurately. Thanks to everyone who has sent in corrections and additions.

If you want your family added to the site, please let me know and I will add your pages as well as your pictures. I enjoy doing our genealogy and I always enjoy adding families.

Many Thanks,
Annette Potter.

More about Annette's Family

Our Dad Creed F Potter and our half brothers, Fred, Washie (died as infant) and Creed Flannery (died as infant) Potter (sons of Creed Flannery Potter and 1st wife Sarah Rose Robinson) passed away and are buried in the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Seco, Letcher Co KY. Our half brother, Ralph (s/o Creed and 1st Sarah) is buried in McLeansboro, Illinois near his 1st wife, Macie Emma Austin Potter, and our brother, Joel Martin "Marty" Potter (s/o Creed and Ida), recently passed away on 10 Aug 2006, and is buried in Houston, Texas in the Houston National Cemetery.

Our Father, Creed F Potter, married (1st) to Sarah Rose Robinson. Dad married 2nd to Elizabeth Betty Brown and 3rd to our Mom, Ida Fuller. Dad, Creed Flannery Potter and 2nd wife, Betty Brown, had no children together, but I believe Betty had at least 2 daughters from a previous marriage. I believe Betty's daughters lived in Cincinnati, OH with her family during their marriage.

Our Dad, Creed resided in McRoberts, Letcher, KY at the time of his death on 26 January 1959. He died in the Paintsville, Kentucky Hospital. Dad was a coal miner. He was the son of Joel "Mart" Potter and Eliza Frances Reynolds. Our Grandparents were born in the same area of Letcher County, and Knott County, Kentucky. Our ancestors lived in the same area of Southeastern Kentucky for generations.

Our Mom, Ida Fuller Potter was the daughter of Elijah "Green" Fuller and Leona Smith. Mom and her ancestors were all born in the same area of Knott County, Kentucky and lived there for generations.

Our Granny, Eliza Frances Reynolds, Mother of Creed Flannery Potter, was the daughter of William Henry Reynolds and Matilda Frances Baker. Granny, Eliza Frances Reynolds, is also buried in the Reynolds Cemetery, Seco, Letcher County KY near our Dad, Creed Flannery Potter. Dad's 1st wife Sarah Rose Robinson Potter Fields, is buried next to him in the Reynolds Family Cemetery, Seco, Letcher Co KY, as well.

Thank you for dropping by our website. We have many families listed, and we would love to add yours, as well. We hope you enjoy your visit and you are always welcome here.
